James, blesses peacemakers and declares them to be

James,
the brother of Jesus Christ, wrote a letter to the 12 tribes which had
scattered among the nations. He expressed to them that faith, the reliance,
loyalty and complete trust in God, goes hand and hand with works. James
continued on by stating if they truly love God, their actions during trails and
temptations will show. In the same way, he reminded them the power of the
tongue.  Stating the same tongue that
Praise the Lord, shouldn’t curse a man. Testifying “God’s wisdom begins with a
holy life and is characterized by getting along with others”. Therefore, we
should plant positive peace sow in order to harvest overflowing mercy and
blessings.

As
peacemakers, those who actively work to bring about peace in a world where
there so much hatred. Allowing God’s wisdom to help control our tongue before
we speak and lose self-control. Loving our neighbor as ourselves.

The
bible states that “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who
love it will eat its fruit.” Hence, we should speak life over ourselves, our
situations, finances, children, job, and home but must importantly over those
who have hurts us. “Let us not
lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary”
I encourage you today, to show your love for God by your actions.

Remember Matthew states, God blesses peacemakers and declares them to be His
children.
